SPARKS, MD – PHH Arval has promoted John T. Karolenko, George C. Sarkis, and Pamela A. Walinski to vice president with the company. John Karolenko, vice president, customer and vehicle services, is responsible for leading the expansion of PHH Arval’s Six Sigma-based “Rally to Results” process improvement program across North America. Karolenko joined PHH Arval in 1984; throughout his career with the company, he has led key projects impacting PHH Arval’s ability to deliver quality service to clients. In addition to developing the Rally to Results program, he led PHH Arval’s disaster-recovery management efforts on behalf of clients during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Karolenko is a member of the Project Management Institute and lives in Forest Hill, Md. George Sarkis, regional vice president, business development, is responsible for managing a portfolio of some of PHH Arval’s largest and most complex clients. He joined PHH Arval in 1977 and has spent his career in the business development division as account executive. Before joining PHH Arval, Sarkis worked for Associates Commercial Leasing. He is a member of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) and lives in Columbia, Md. Pam Walinski, vice president, customer and vehicle services, is responsible for the company’s vehicle accident services and driver records and safety departments. She joined PHH Arval in 1981 in the finance division as a manager in accounts payable, was promoted to director of accounts receivable and collections, and later moved into operations as director of vehicle accident services. Walinski is currently working for her MBA in the graduate program at the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore. She lives in Perry Hall, Md.
