ALPHARETTA, GA – LeasePlan USA’s Client Activation Team has been selected as a finalist in the 2006 American Business Awards. The team, which averages more than 15 years of industry experience, was selected as a finalist in the “Best Customer Service Team” category. LeasePlan’s Client Activation Team serves as a single point of contact for new clients and is focused on streamlining the client activation process. Most team members have worked in multiple areas of the organization, giving them an intimate understanding of how each area interacts with or directly affects clients. This is the second year in a row that LeasePlan has been named a finalist in the “Best Customer Service Team” category. The company’s Customer Contact Center was named a finalist in 2005. The American Business Awards — also known as the Stevie Awards — were created to honor and generate public recognition for the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business leaders throughout the world. The 2006 Stevie Award winners will be announced on Monday, June 12, in New York City.
