DETRIOT – GM’s CEO Rick Wagoner confirmed that Cadillac would be getting an Escalade Hybrid for the 2008-model year, according to the Web site www.ask.autoblog.com/. The 2008-model Escalade will use the two-mode hybrid system that will be used in the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon.
According to the Web site, there was indication of the Escalade Hybrid’s projected fuel economy. It is anticipated that there will be a 25-percent gain in fuel economy.
