WASHINGTON D.C. – The U.S. Energy Department has made available driver training materials for the operation of alternative-fuel vehicles. Fleet managers and trainers can access instructive PowerPoint presentations, including formatted slides and speaker notes, that explain how to safely use biodiesel, compressed natural gas (CNG), E85 (85 percent ethanol, 15 percent gasoline) and propane. The training materials, developed for courses held last year, are available at http://www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/resources/altfueltraining/driver_training.html.
