NORTHBROOK, IL – Jim Tuchler has joined Donlen Corp. in the newly created position of Senior VP of Customer Service. In this role, Tuchler will act as Donlen’s primary customer advocate, and focus exclusively on increasing customer care levels and further streamlining service operations. The position is part of the Donlen Leadership Team, and will report to Gary Rappeport, Donlen president and CEO. Before joining Donlen, Tuchler spent six years at Sears in a variety of roles, including manager of and director of customer care and Internet, where he led various teams that implemented key initiatives for the Sears call center network and e-commerce Web site. Prior to Sears, Tuchler held positions in systems solutions consulting and business development. He earned an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. in engineering and operations research from Princeton University. He was awarded the Sears Chairman’s Award for Innovation and Customer Service, served as director of the United Communications Corp., and is named in five patents for online innovation.
