FRANKFURT, GERMANY — DaimlerChrysler AG will introduce a new commercial truck model for the North American market next year, reported the Washington Post. The truck, made by Sterling Truck Corp., a unit of the German-U.S. company’s Freightliner division, is the first to be built using common components and parts from across its various brands, including Japan-based Mitsubishi Fuso. The new truck, featuring a cab over the engine, will go on sale in North America next year at its Sterling dealerships.
