DriveCam Video Systems, a developer of fleet safety technology, has announced two upcoming DriveCam Academy management-training courses, one scheduled June 29 in Los Angeles, and the other September 28 in Chicago. Created for DriveCam customers, the DriveCam Academy is a one-day course that provides advanced training on driver improvement and incident prevention using the DriveCam safety program. The course is taught by Del Lisk, DriveCam’s vice president of fleet safety services. Areas covered in the course include reviewing and analyzing DriveCam video recordings to isolate and correct poor driving habits, using DriveCam reports to identify individual fleet safety trends, and building safety meetings using recorded driving events. Lisk will apply his more than 22 years of experience in driver training and accident prevention to help attendees implement safety policies and procedures in their fleet operations. He has developed many fleet safety programs and has personally delivered training to more than 10,000 fleet drivers. The DriveCam Academy has a limited enrollment, so registrants are asked to register early. Contact dlisk@drivecam.com or call 1-866-419-5861 for location, course overview, and enrollment fee information.
