Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) announced the appointment of Rick Bryant to its Commercial Sales Department. In his new role as the commercial fleet manager, Bryant will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, including achieving sales objectives for VCNA's commercial fleets, the development of fleet synergies with the Ford Motor Co. and the development and marketing of fleet strategies. Directly reporting to Bryant within the VCNA organization will be three fleet managers, the commercial fleet specialist, and the commercial fleet coordinator. "We are excited that Rick has decided to join our team," commented Jeff Pugliese, commercial sales manager of VCNA. "He brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization and will play an integral role in the success of Volvo's Commercial Sales department going forward." Joining VCNA in 1993 after leaving Subaru of New England, Bryant has extensive automotive experience in both the wholesale and retail sides of the business. Throughout his tenure within the VCNA organization, Bryant has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including assignments in the areas of Parts & Service, Sales, and Retailer Operations. Most recently, Bryant held the position of senior market manager within VCNA's Northeast Region.
