The American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA), will hold its Winter 2004 board of directors meeting at the Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Aventura, Fla., March 14-16.

The March 14 opening reception will be followed by dinner, during which Bill McKee, president of AALA, will offer welcoming remarks, and keynote speaker, Dr. Barry Asmus, senior economist, National Center for Policy Analysis, will speak on the topic “Prospects for and State of the American Economy.”

On March 15, the general business meeting will include a talk by David Powell, president & CEO, Canadian Finance & Leasing Association. Following will be an Energy Panel, featuring Bill Becker, executive director, State and Territorial Air Pollution Program, Administrators Association of Local Air Pollution Control officials, Gil Sperling, Esq. of Counselors, Inc., and David R. Hill, Esq. deputy general counsel for Energy Policy, U.S. Department of Energy. The energy panel will be followed by a presentation by Gary Lapidus, senior industry analyst, Goldman, Sachs & Co.

A closed session will be held March 16.
