A ban on the use of hand-held mobile phones while driving is causing a safety crisis on Britain's roads as motorists, including fleet drivers, put their lives in danger by attempting to stop and answer calls, Fleet News, a UK fleet publication reported on January 14. Fleet News reported that one driver had died in a crash after another motorist stopped to answer a mobile phone
