Fleet Response, a fleet services company headquartered in Cleveland, announced January 9 that it is offering Driver History Profile (DHP), a new Web-based client service which helps fleet and risk managers classify drivers into risk categories by monitoring motor vehicle records (MVR) and previously reported claims. Based on company criteria, drivers are categorized as low, medium, or high risk. DHP enables managers to focus attention on high risk drivers and determine which safety programs are necessary to decrease risk. DHP can also determine whether a driver is following company policy or is a liability requiring additional disciplinary action. "By recognizing at-risk drivers, Driver History Profile helps fleet managers make more informed decisions to reduce overall corporate liability," said Scott Mawaka, executive vice-president, Fleet Response.
