For seven consecutive years, Enterprise Fleet Services, has been awarded the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) “Blue Seal of Excellence.” The award certifies automotive repair businesses that achieve the very highest standards of service excellence. In order to receive the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, an automotive repair facility must demonstrate that at least 75 percent of its repair technicians are ASE-certified, and that at least one technician in each area of service offered by the business is ASE certified. ASE certification means that an individual has passed industry-developed exams and meets experience requirements. At Enterprise, 100 percent of the company’s technicians are ASE certified, and each technician has an average of 13 certifications. Enterprise was first recognized with the ASE’s Blue Seal of Excellence in 1997, and was the first fleet management company to receive the honor. Bob Schurwan, assistant vice president of Enterprise Fleet Operations, says that the recognition the company has received is due entirely to the dedication and skill of its employees. With 46 full-service offices nationwide, Enterprise Fleet Services is a division of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the largest purchaser of new vehicles in the United States.
