New vehicles registered by fleet customers in the first three months of 2003 totaled 18.6 percent of the United States total, reported R.L. Polk, a research firm located in Southfield, MI. That is a 2.7 percentage point increase when compared to the same time last year. Then fleet customers accounted for 15.9 percent of the total.
