PHH has launched its communications technology and systems designed to enhance the company’s ability to electronically communicate with clients, drivers, and supplier partners, the company announced on April 25, 2003. The recipient can choose from various methods of proactive communication from PHH, including email, regular mail, fax, etc. Customized communication is possible through a Web Services-based notification engine with policy information and a client, driver, and supplier database. New elements in the system include a capability enhancement that lets PHH email more drivers as well as adding to the number of events that trigger proactive notification to drivers. PHH is adding to its eCommunications, with plans to automatically notify drivers regarding registration renewals, and eCommunication of preventive maintenance scheduling.
