LeasePlan USA announced that it has implemented a new Mechanical Incident Management System (MIMS) at its Fleet Management Services division in Rolling Meadows, Ill. MIMS integrates all service orders for both LeasePlan and Consolidated Service Corporation (CSC) into one database that is immediately accessible to service professionals in the mechanical, night operations and billing areas. According to LeasePlan USA, the system automatically audits each service order for client spending limits, pricing for individual services, time and mileage parameters per repair. In addition, MIMS provides on-screen information pertaining to the client, vehicle and fleet management programs.
