ADESA Corp. announced that its Cincinnati/Dayton auction site has acquired the business operations of Queen City Auto Auction in Cincinnati. According to the company, the auction was at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Cincinnati until the county government failed to renew the property for auction use. The deal calls for ADESA Cincinnati/Dayton to assume Queen City Auto Auction's dealer base and other accounts. Former Queen City Auto Auction owner Ron Johnson is ADESA Cincinnati/Dayton's general sales manager of its new Friday sale. ADESA operates 52 wholesale auctions in the United States and Canada.
