The 8th National Clean Cities Conference will take place at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City on May 12-15, 2002. The conference will emphasize the critical need for energy security and the role of alternative-fuel vehicles (AFVs) in meeting that challenge. According to the organizers, the conference will examine alternative-fuel technologies, infrastructure development, strategic alliances, niche marketing, health and environmental benefits, and policy initiatives that are changing the AFV landscape. The nation’s largest display of AFVs will also be featured.
