From their own offices, executives from Dow Chemical, Bank One, SC Johnson, and Tricon Global Restaurants participated in a Web training seminar in June 2001. The seminar, conducted by Wheels Inc., addressed 2002 ordering and manufacturing updates. It also provided a tutorial on how to use Wheels’ new Internet-based Compare tool, which enables fleet managers to compare up to eight vehicles simultaneously, perform cost projections, and evaluate vehicle replacement cycles. In addition to hosting periodic “cyber meetings,” Wheels Inc. has established a “virtual” training room to provide more in-depth tutorial and respond to specific software questions. The online training room has 14 seats available for regularly scheduled classes or individual training.
