WASHINGTON,D.C. --- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that Honda Motor Co. is recalling 43,200 Acura RL sedans in the U.S. to replace a power steering hose that runs the risk of cracking from engine heat and posing a fire hazard. The recall affects 2005-2008 models. Honda has already begun contacting the affected vehicle owners. A cracked hose can release a volatile fluid onto a hot catalytic converter, which can possibly cause a fire. Honda dealers will install a heat-resistant hose to replace the faulty one.
