DETROIT --- Chrysler is recalling 102,042 Dodge Avengers and Chrysler Sebring cars to address a potential problem with cooling fan motor connectors that may pose a fire risk. The recall affects the 2007 and 2008 model years that have 2.4-liter engines. There have been a few cases in which the cooling fan connectors overheated, although no accidents or injuries have been reported. The connectors will be inspected to determine whether they need to be replaced or whether new wiring should be installed, Dow Jones reported.
