AUBURN HILLS, MI - Chrysler announced that it would extend its powertrain warranty from the 3-year/36,000-mile basic limited warranty to a new lifetime powertrain warranty. The new warranty applies to most new Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles purchased from dealer inventory and delivered on or after July 26. It covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair the engine, transmission and drive systems.

The new lifetime powertrain warranty is limited to the first registered owner and is extended to the commercial fleet customer.

All components of the 3-year/36,000 mile basic limited warranty will remain in effect including such items as road side assistance and transferability for the term of the basic limited warranty. For more information, visit www.fleet.chrysler.com.
