DES PLAINES, IL – Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion-dollar fleet-leasing industry, has been selected as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to work for in Chicago by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). The NABR recognized Wheels and other companies at “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” 2006 symposium and awards luncheon on Fri., Jun. 9, at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook. The award program was created to recognize innovative human resource best practices and tools for constant improvement demonstrated by the top companies in the area.

Wheels’ recognition as an ideal work environment by the NABR panel of judges for the second consecutive year was based on information highlighting the company’s culture, policies, and human resource practices.

The winners of the 2006 “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” award are selected based on the following criteria: diversity and multi-culturalism, work-life balance, communication, compensation and benefits, employee education and development, recruitment and selection, recognition and retention, employee engagement, and commitment and community initiatives.

The “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” competition is sponsored by The Chicago Sun Times, the Management Association of Illinois, Illinois Institute of Technology Center for Research and Service, DaimlerChrysler, and Corporate Express.
