Gerald W. Calk has been named fleet administrator for the City of Kansas City, Mo. Calk’s most recent position was with the State of South Carolina, where he served as state fleet administrator for nearly 10 years. In that position, Calk oversaw the largest centrally managed, state-owned fleet in the U.S During his employment with the State of South Carolina, Calk designed and implemented a fleet fuel program that generated savings of more than $3 million annually. He also managed a combination in-house/outsource program that saved more than $6 million annually.
