Following action taken by the New York state Attorney General's office, Fuccillo Ford of East Greenbush, NY, has agreed to pay more than $30,000 in restitution for failing to disclose to customers the true history of some of the used vehicles it sold, according to WXXA TV in Albany.

According to WXXA TV, Fuccillo sold former rental cars as "used" cars but did not tell customers that the cars had been used as rentals. This non-disclosure is a violation of New York state law, which requires a dealer to inform customers if the car they're buying was previously used as a rental vehicle.

The settlement required the dealer to pay 21 customers $15,000 each. Other customers who may have been misled will have six months to file a claim.
