The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) will host its third webinar in its 2020 Road to Recovery series, titled “Adjusting to the New Normal,” on Friday, June 5, 2020.
The third webinar will feature consignors from OEMs, captives, banks, commercial fleets, and rental car companies discussing the current remarketing landscape. It will identify ways to maximize return on inventories despite market changes, and help attendees discover how their remarketing strategy compares, competes, or enhances current market dynamics.
Last Friday, May 22, 2020, IARA hosted a webinar titled “Opportunities Discovered," which focused on the current actions of mega dealer groups and expected buying patterns in the near future.
Speakers during the webinar included Adam Diskey, director of product management, Byrider; Stan Morton, GM/dealer principal (Franklin, TN), City Auto Sales; Domingo Burgos, director of inventory, Drive Time; and Aubrey Giblin, VP of transportation and purchasing, Sonic Automotive's EchoPark.
Topics discussed on Friday included:
- The latest updates on retail activity
- Challenges being faced and new ways of doing business
- The effect on consignors in the remarketing space
- Where and how cars are being sourced
Earlier, the IARA hosted on May 8, 2020 the first webinar in the 2020 Road to Recovery series.
