Abbott's Lopez Retires

Diane Lopez, category manager, fleet & ground transportation global procurement for Abbott, retired on Feb. 14, 2020, capping an almost 36-year career with the company. 

Headquartered in Abbott Park in Chicago, Abbott is a global healthcare company operating in 162 countries. 

Lopez joined Abbott in 1984 as a micrographics coordinator and over the next three decades steadily progressed through the ranks of the corporation. 

In 1987, Lopez was promoted to manager, corporate fleet & limo. Later, in May 2016, Lopez was promoted to serve as the category manager, global fleet for Abbott.
