Fleet sales in Switzerland were down in January by 1,000 units, when compared to the same time last year.

The total fleet market saw 4,000 units sold in January in Switzerland, according to Dataforce. The best selling fleet vehicle in the country was the Skoda Octavia. This was followed by the Volkswagen Transporter in second place, and the Renault Megane in third.

Meanwhile, private sales also saw a decrease in sales, a 8.8% drop that equated to around a 1,000 vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers was the Mercedes-Benz GLC, GLK Class. This was followed by the Mercedes-A Class, then the Volkswagen Tiguan.
