Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. is recalling an estimated 383 2019 Audi Q7 vehicles because the side curtain air bags may not properly inflate during a collision.

If an air bag does not function in the event of a crash it increases the likelihood of injuries.

To remedy the problem, Volkswagen will notify owners, and dealers will replace the side curtain air bags, at no cost to owners.

Owners can reach Volkswagen customer service at (800) 893-5298.

The recall begins Apr. 19. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 69AJ.
