The AFLA Canada Fleet Summit is designed to promote fleet management education for Canadian-based commercial fleet managers working for small and mid-size businesses, and to help multinational fleets operating in Canada to better understand the Canadian fleet market to optimize their fleet operations.

The inaugural 2020 AFLA Canada Fleet Summit has detailed its conference agenda, which includes multiple deep-dive sessions addressing topics pertinent to those who have responsibilities within the Canadian fleet marketplace.

The AFLA Canada Fleet Summit is designed to promote fleet management education for Canadian-based commercial fleet managers working for small and mid-size businesses, and to help multinational fleets operating in Canada to better understand the Canadian fleet market to optimize their fleet operations. The summit will be hosted at the Hilton Toronto Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, on Feb. 12 to 13, 2020, and you can register for the conference by clicking here.

The opening day will begin with a fleet manager benchmarking inaugural meeting, specifically for fleet managers, followed later by the top automotive trends and their impact on commercial fleets, then a session on understanding the differences between the Canadian and U.S. fleet markets. Later that day will be a session on best practices in safety management, followed by a Women in Fleet Management (WIFM) association meeting, and then a session on identifying and implementing fleet best practices in Canada.

The second day of the summit will begin with a keynote on understanding fleet liability exposure of marijuana legalization, then a deep dive on best practices in mobility and alternative fleet transportation solution. Afterward will be session on remarketing strategies to maximize resale dollars, a deep dive on how to create a data analytics roadmap using telematics technology, a panel discussion on order-to-delivery issues, and finally a session on achieving sustainability using fleet electrification.

The deep dive sessions will be sponsored by Wheels, Inc., Donlen, Geotab, Element, and The CEI Group.

The AFLA Canada conference will be held just before the start of the 2020 Canadian International Autoshow, which opens Feb. 14 in Toronto, for those interested in staying beyond the conference.
