The NAFA Pacific Southwest Chapter hosted a meeting where fleet representatives from several auto manufacturers presented updates on their products to various segments of the fleet industry at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Twelve OEMs were represented at the presentation, where they gave brief rundowns of their product lineup to government, utility, and commercial fleets.

Common themes presented across many of the portfolios included the idea of having safety as a standard option available for fleets, and providing fleets with more EV options to achieve sustainability goals,

“Seeing all the new technology that OEMs are releasing, is refreshing to see,” said Mark Cummings, manager national commercial fleet accounts at Subaru of America, who also presented on behalf of his company during the presentation. “The presentation provides a less competitive format. We’re open to what our competitors say and we embrace that in a lot of ways.”

The presentation included ample networking opportunities that allowed fleets from various industries to better understand each other’s businesses.
