The 2020 Silverado 1500 is the strong, capable truck that helps ensure the work is done right on the jobsite. It offers a variety of new features that deliver on the quality and reliability you’ve come to depend on from Silverado trucks.

When it comes to power, the Silverado offers six different engines to choose from — including the all new for 2020 Duramax 3.0L I6. This quiet and strong engine produces 277 horsepower with 460 lb.-ft. of torque while remaining fuel efficient and strong, allowing you to move quickly while towing a heavy load. This is based on an EPA-estimated 23 city/33 highway MPG for the 2WD and 23 city/29 highway for 4WD.

You can also choose from one of the following engines: the 6.2L V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management, the 5.3L V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management, the 4.3L V6 engine with Active Fuel Management or the responsive 2.7L Turbo 4-cylinder engine. The variety of available engines means you’ll have plenty of options to find an engine that’s tailored to meet the needs of your business and the jobsite.

Not only does the Silverado deliver on power with its available engine options, it’s capable and strong as well. All trims feature the standard Durabed, helping you manage your job confidently. Built from high-strength, roll-formed steel, the Durabed has convenient features like 12 fixed tie-downs rated up to 500 lbs. per corner, with available 120V outlet and LED rear task lighting along with a larger-than-ever CornerStep bumper. When equipped with the 8 foot bed, its spacious 89.1 cu. ft. maximum cargo box volume is 6.75 inches wider than the previous generation. That, combined with up to 2,250 lbs. maximum payload capability, gives you the strength you want and the confidence you need to get the job done.

The technology in the Silverado 1500 gets an upgrade as well. There is an available camera-based Adaptive Cruise Control system, and the base trim comes standard with a 7-inch diagonal touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a six-speaker sound system. On select trims, the Silverado features an available Technology Package that offers up to 15 unique camera views including a transparent trailer view that can help with towing and trailering.

To round out the great features of this capable truck, it offers a few different fleet-only packages to meet the unique needs of fleet managers and your businesses.

The rugged and functional Work Truck trim offers the available Fleet Convenience Package, Safety Package and Special Services Package.

Fleet Convenience Package includes features like remote keyless entry, Power Lock and Release Tailgate with lift assist, and cruise control. The Safety Package includes features like Front and Rear Parking Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The LT trim offers two exclusive available packages for fleets — the Fleet Comfort Package or the Safety Package II. Fleet Comfort includes multiple features to help keep your employees satisfied on the road including features like a 10-way power driver seat, heated driver and front passenger seats, and a Power Lock and Release Tailgate. The Safety Package II was designed to deliver peace of mind with features including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking.
