Subaru's 2020 Impreza compact car will retail for $19,595, including a $900 delivery fee, for the sedan and hatchback models. The Impreza retails for $100 more than the outgoing model and adds new safety technology.

The Impreza, which entered its fifth generation with the 2016 model year, now arrives with the EyeSight driver assist technology bunde standard across the range that features automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control among other features.

The 2020 Impreza will be available in four trim grades, including base, Premium, Sport, and Limited. It arrives at dealers this month.

All models are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that makes 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. A Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) appears across the lineup, while a five-speed manual is available on the base car.

Other new features include an available rear seat reminder and revised front fascia and grille.
