Merchants Fleet CEO Brendan P. Keegan received three awards from the annual CEO World Awards program, the company announced.
Keegan was the gold winner of the Innovator of the Year for business services in the 11 to 2,499 employee category; the silver winner for CEO of the Year in the USA; and the bronze winner for Visionary CEO of the Year.
The awards, according to Merchants, recognized Keegan's innovation, forward-thinking, and ability to respond to the needs of clients in new and innovative ways.
Keegan has been involved with Merchants Fleet since 2009 as a client, board member, and strategic advisor. His focus as CEO of Merchants is on transforming the company's business model and creating a new industry merging fleet with technology, the company stated.
For the awards he recently received, organizations from all over the world are eligible to submit nominations including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups. Judges from a broad spectrum of industries from around the world participate, and their average scores determine award winners, according to Merchants' announcement.
