True Fleet was up, coming off the back of April's 11.6% growth, according to Dataforce. Conversely, in March, the true fleet market in Spain was down 3.4%.

The true fleet market in Spain saw a 2% growth in May, continuing off the strength of the previous month which countered declines seen in previous months.

True Fleet was up, coming off the back of April's 11.6% growth, according to Dataforce. Conversely, in March, the true fleet market in Spain was down 3.4%.

Volkswagen was the No. 1 automaker in terms of brand performance for the true fleet market, according to Dataforce. This was followed by Peugeot and Toyota, in second and third place, respectively. Peugeot's ranking was bolstered 12.5%, which increased partially from the strength of the 3008 compact crossover SUV, and Toyota grew by 27.9% due to the strength of the RAV4, C-HR, Aygo, and Corolla.

SEAT secured the fourth place spot, but saw the biggest growth on the month, increasing 41.9%, according to Dataforce. They were followed by BMW, Renault, Audi, Ford, and Mercedes, in that order. Nissan was the new entry onto the top 10 ladder thanks to a 9.3%.

All SUV classes (small, compact, medium, and large) continued to expand in the market.
