Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. is recalling approximately 23,241 2016 to 2018 Audi Q3 vehicles equipped with LED headlights for a turn single issue.

Specifically, these vehicles may have an inoperable front turn signal that may not illuminate an indicator, failing to alert the driver to the issue. This situation means the driver may be unaware that he or she is turning or changing lanes without providing a single to other motorists, increasing the likelihood of a collision.

To fix the problem, Audi will notify owners, and dealers will update the body control module (BCM), at no cost to owners.

The recall begins July 19. Owners can reach Audi customer service at (800) 253-2834. Audi's reference number for this recall is 97DK.
