PayTollo has begun offering fleets the ability to pay for tolls in five states with a mobile smartphone app, the New York-based company announced.

Toll roads and bridges in California, Texas, Florida, Colorado, and Washington will now accept the mobile payments to provide fleet drivers with a more streamlined payment option. The app should work on major thoroughfares.

Some tolling authorities are transitioning to electronic tolling to reduce costs and the time needed to collect funds. The system eliminates DMV look-ups and paper invoices.

Drivers can also use PayTollo's tolling solution with an Automatic Labs adapter, which is available for purchase for $99.99.

In October 2018, SiriusXM-owned Automatic Labs acquired Paytollo.
