Alphabet, a global provider of business mobility, has announced a new CEO.

Marco Lessacher will take the helm on July 1, 2019 and will succeed long-standing CEO Norbert van den Eijinden, who will be resigning from his post.

In his new role Lessacher will work to make the company future-proof and position it as a leader in the fast-changing mobility services industry.

Lessacher began at BMW Group in 2007 and has held various CEO functions at BMW Financial Services and Alphabet Germany. He has also served as Head of International Corporate, direct and special sales at the BMW Group.
