Tesla has raised the price of its cheapest Model 3 electric vehicle by $400, and is now $35,400, reports CNN.
The company first started taking orders for the more affordable Model 3 at the end of February before announcing the price increase a little more than two months later.
The $35,400 price is before the required destination and doc fee, and is $36,600 with it, according to Car and Driver. When ordered with destination, the Model 3 is only available by special order at Tesla stores.
The more affordable $35,000 Model 3 Tesla was first unveiled March 31, 2016.
Meanwhile, automaker also recently announced extended range, power, and torque increases have also been made across all Model S and Model X variants earlier this month.
