Lincoln SUV Blitz Continues

Lincoln's 2020 Corsair entry-level crossover that debuted at the New York auto show will replace the MKC, as the luxury brand continues it overhaul of its crossover lineup that has included a heavily revamped Navigator as well as new Nautilus and Aviator models in recent model years.

The Corsair would likely compete with the Cadillac XT4 and Lexus NX.

Lincoln's new crossovers have taken aircraft as inspiration and are employing a design language known as "quiet flight."

Technology includes a head-up display, optional 12.3-inch color instrument cluster, massaging seats, 24-way power seats, and Revel sound systems. It will also include the standard driver-assistance bundle Co-Pilot 360 that includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, auto high beams and lane-keeping.

Two engine options include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque or an optional 2.3-liter turbo that makes 280 hp and 310 lb.-ft. All-wheel drive is optional on the base engine and standard on the upgraded engine.
