Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. is recalling an estimated 74,881 Audi vehicles because the left and right fuel rails may leak fuel. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the likelihood of a fire.

Specifically, the recall includes 2016 to 2018 Audi Q7, Audi A6, and Audi A7 vehicles, as well as 2015 to 2018 Audi A8 vehicles.

To fix the problem, Audi has notified owners, and dealers will replace the left and right fuel rail, at no cost to owners.

The recall began Feb. 28. Owners can reach Audi customer service at (800) 253-2834. Audi’s reference number for this recall is 24DP.
