Italy fleet registrations have continued a fifth month decline following the introduction the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) last year, and dropped 14.8%, despite some growth in the private vehicle market.

Fiat held the No. 1 spot with regards to fleet registrations and  was followed closely by Volkswagen, which trailed only by 2,487 registrations, according to Dataforce. In third place was Peugeot, which was bumped up from the tenth spot after posting an 86.2% growth and aided by sales of the 3008, 2008, 308, 208.

Rounding out the top five was BMW in fourth and Audi at No. 5.

With regards to leading vehicle models in the region, Jeep Compass, Fiat Panda, and Mercedes GLC all posted declined but in 4th the Range Rover Sport boasted a healthy 47.1% increase and in 6th the Mercedes A-Class also saw an increase of 44.3%.
