The Mercedes-Benz EQC, a new battery-electric SUV from the automaker, announced that its preliminary estimated range increased from 200 miles to 279 miles, according to the automaker.
The EQC, which is part of the automaker’s new EQ sub-brand, is an all-wheel-drive vehicle that will compete with other EV vehicles with a similar range, will have its U.S premier at CES in Las Vegas, which will be held from Jan. 8-11.
The battery-electric vehicle will also feature the automaker's multimedia system MBUX - Mercedes-Benz User Experience - which has numerous EQ-specific functions such as the display of range, charge status and energy flow. EQ also offers comprehensive services with Mercedes me connect, a mobile device-enabled platform that keeps drivers connected with their vehicles.
The Mercedes-Benz EQC will generate an output of 402 hp and a maximum torque of 564 lb.-ft., accoridng to the automaker.
