SensLynx has introduced its on-board diagnostics device that provides 4G LTE connectivity for fleet vehicles using SD-WAN technology to provide a more reliable connection, according to the Encinitas, Calif.-based company.

SensLynx, which offers fleet and asset tracking products, is offering the plug-and-play bundle with software, hardware, and connectivity, as well as cloud-based managed services and monitoring for a monthly subscription.

The provider's failover technology automatically rescues lost primary wired or broadband connections. Its LTE technology deploys primary connectivity to new or temporary locations, while also functioning as a backup or secondary connection. Product applications include trade shows, oil and gas remote monitoring, in-vehicle, mobile or portable uses, and disaster recovery.

Initially, SensLynx's solutions will focus on cellular carriers, master agents, telecom VARs and managed service providers. SensLynx is already in development on a reseller program to support indirect sales.

"By simplifying IoT and providing SMBs with bundled, affordable solutions, worry-free wireless failover and primary connectivity, SensLynx is fulfilling its vision of bettering businesses with cost savings and efficiencies," said Tom Maguire, the company's chief marketing and operations officer.
