Volkswagen has integrated Apple's Siri voice commands into its Car-Net mobile app to help drivers better interact with their vehicles, the company announced.

The infotainment app is compatible with iOS 12 devices and helps users lock or unlock their vehicle, check estimated mileage with the fuel or charge left, and enable headlight flashing or honk and flash.

Car-Net also now adds shortcuts that can be added to Siri with a personalized phrase, including a start/stop for charging, defroster, and climate controls. Users can also use the "Where's my car" command to locate their vehicle.

The updates are available now.
