Mazda will debut its fourth-generation 2019 Mazda3 ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month as a vehicle that makes its global debut at the show in late November.

The 2019 Mazda3 is based on the Mazda Kai Concept vehicle. Mazda released a teaser video of the vehicle on Oct. 17 on YouTube. A teaser photo shows two versions of the vehicle, including a sedan and hatchback.

It will offer next-generation Skyactiv vehicle architecture and the latest Skyactiv engines that will offer "responsive control of vehicle speed in any driving situation," according to Mazda.

The vehicle will mark the beginning of a new generation of Mazda cars, according to the company.
