Registrations for the true fleet market in France posted a 28.9% growth in August, which follows several European markets that showed growth in fleet registrations in the same period including the U.K., Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, according to Dataforce.

Renault was the leading brand for fleet registrations in the country, which has held the top spot for four months in a row, according to a report from Dataforce. This was also the country’s biggest growth market since December 2015, posting a 59.5% growth, comparatively.

Peugeot and Citroën took the second and third place spots, respectively, and were the first of the OEMs with negative growth rates. Volkswagen and Nissan, which were in fourth and fifth place respectively, capitalized on the market expansion with their compact SUVs (the Volkswagen Tiguan and Nissan Qashqai) supporting the volume increase.
