General Motors was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for corporate sustainability leadership – appearing on the World Index for the second year in a row.

General Motors was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for corporate sustainability leadership – appearing on the world index for the second year in a row, General Motors announced.

The indices represents a global benchmark for corporate sustainability, and evaluate companies based on financially relevant environmental, social and governance factors, according to the automaker.

This year, GM achieved a score of 75 and placed in the 96th percentile among the automotive sector. The company earned a perfect score in Corporate Governance, Brand Management, Environmental Reporting, Environmental Policy and Management Systems and Talent Attraction and Retention, according to GM.
