Ford’s assembly plant in South Africa has produced 500,000 models of the current generation Ford Ranger, a popular light commercial vehicle in the region as of late, according to a release from Ford.

Ford achieved the milestone at its Silverton Assembly Plant in Pretoria, South Africa, which also exports the vehicle to over 148 markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, according to a release.
