Blind Veterans UK, a U.K.-based charity that helps blind and vision impaired ex-service personnel, added six new Transporters to its fleet of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, according to a company announcement.

The new additions join a fleet of 25 Transporter Shuttles, two Caddy vans, and two Crafter minibuses.

These vehicles are used to transport members between their residential addresses and two centers in Brighton, Sussex, and Llandudno, Wales.

The Transporter Shuttle was chosen to due to its comfort and spacious interior, the company noted. The size of the interior allows the charity to transport up to seven veterans in one trip. The safety features that the vehicle is equipped with were also contributing factors in the selection of the Transporter Shuttle into the charity’s fleet.
