Fleet registrations in the Italian market reached an all-time high for the first six months of 2018, which was bolstered by SUVs and passenger vehicles, according to a report from Dataforce.
Breaking down the SUV segment, compact SUVs led the way for the first six months of 2018, up 45.1% during this period, according to Dataforce. This was followed by small SUVs (25.5%), medium SUVs (21.8%), and large SUVs (7.5%). Passenger vehicles were up 7.1% during the same period.
Meanwhile, fleet registrations in Italy for June, overall, were up slightly by 0.6%, according to a report from Dataforce.
FCA led all OEMs in fleet registrations for the month of June, despite dropping 17.9% compared from the month before, according to Dataforce. Audi was second in fleet registrations for the month, up 24.6%, which was bolstered by sales of the A3, A4, and SUV models Q2, Q3, and Q5. After Audi, Mercedes held the third place spot, which was then followed by Mercedes, and Ford. SUVs dominated fleet registrations for the month June, up 44.7%.
